I've been working on some sample promotion pieces, coming up with ideas on what to send out.
Instead of having a bunch of postcards ordered with the same image, I decided to hand paint an edition of 100 tromp l'oeil "napkins" and send them out to potential clients.
The images posted below are just the first two trials I've had.
I think the finished product will be somewhere along these lines.
Maybe some variation on what's actually on the napkin.
e.g.: coffee stains, phone numbers, lipstick stains. etc.
gouache on stonehenge paper.
